An accomplished and dedicated professional, Rebecca Herbert is JES’s Procurement, Operations & Office Manager and one of the cornerstones of the company since 2017. Her career trajectory exemplifies commitment, expertise, and a pursuit of excellence.

After successfully passing her A-Levels, she embarked on a two-year apprenticeship in Accounts and Administration, laying a strong foundation for her future career. Her skills and knowledge were further honed with a First-Class Honours Degree in Business from Swansea University. This academic achievement propelled her into a distinguished 23-year tenure with Tata Steel at their Port Talbot works, where she made significant contributions in the Accounts, Facilities, and Procurement sectors.

In her current role, she is an apex appointment within the company, where she not only manages procurement and contracts but also serves as the financial controller. Her comprehensive understanding of business operations, coupled with her meticulous attention to detail, ensures the company's financial health and operational efficiency.

Outside of her professional life, she is deeply invested in her family and community. Her passion for sport is evident through her active involvement with Baglan RFC and the Base Invaders Rounders team in the South Wales Rounders League. This commitment to community sport highlights her leadership, team spirit, and dedication to fostering local talent and community engagement.
